Lõvi on vihane.
Hiir on hirmunud.
"Mul on väga kahju", ütleb hiir.
"Ära mind ära söö! Ma võin sind aidata ühel päeval."

Lõvi naerab.
"See on naljakas!" ta ütleb.
"Sa oled väike! Kuidas sa saad mind aidata?"
Aga lõvi pole nüüd vihane. Hiir jookseb ära.

Üks aasta hiljem, lõvi on parasjagu džunglis jalutamas.
Üks suur võrk langeb lõvile peale.
Lõvi avab suu ja möirgab.
Hiir kuuleb lõvi ja jookseb aitama.

"Ära liiguta," ütleb hiir.
"Ma saan sind aidata."
Hiir närib võrgu läbi ja teeb suure augu.
Lõvi on vaba.
"Tänan sind," ütleb lõvi.
